Welcome to RoseWolf Creations
Pjila’si
Here, you’ll find a part of my heart and the passion that fills up my soul. As the artist behind these works, I am dedicated to sharing the beauty of pyrography (wood-burning) through every part of my life that inspires me and makes me who I am.
Mi’kmaw artisan
Annie Martin
I am Mi’kmaw, member of Millbrook First Nation, and grew up in Sikuek, Mi’kma’ki. I grew up both by the forest and the ocean, and you will see the ocean, the trees, and Mi’kmaq designs and motifs throughout my work.
Each piece in my collection is made with love and fire – crafted using handmade or locally sourced wood wherever possible, ensuring a connection to nature and sustainability. From burned suede hats, wall art to leather and birch earrings, bracelets, bowls, boxes, signs, t-shirts, and so much more, I am always striving to find more ways to be creative.
Thank you for visiting RoseWolf – I hope you find a piece that speaks to you. Please reach out if you have any questions or are looking for a custom piece.
Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) is located in Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. The Epekwitnewaq Mi’kmaq have occupied this Island for over 12,000 years. We honour the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which recognized Mi’kmaq rights and established an ongoing relationship between nations. We are all Treaty People.
