This collaboration brings together Indigenous craftsmanship, bridging Nations through shared story, tradition, and creation.
Each hat begins with the work of Stan Wesley of 1905 Andrew + Patrick Custom Hats, whose designs are rooted in Treaty 9, ancestral knowledge, and the legacy of his great-grandfathers. Crafted from rabbit felt, each piece carries a deep connection to history, care, and cultural continuity.
From there, each hat is individually hand-burned by Annie Martin of RoseWolf Creations in Epekwitk (PEI), using fire as a medium to create one-of-a-kind designs.
Together, this collaboration honours the longstanding connection between Nations—where art, story, and identity meet. Each piece is not just worn, but carried.

Handmade rabbit felt hat, crafted in small batches
Epekwitk (Prince Edward Island) is part of Mi’kma’ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq People. The Mi’kmaq have lived on and cared for this land for over 12,000 years. We honour the Treaties of Peace and Friendship, which recognize Mi’kmaq rights and remind us that our relationship with this land and each other is ongoing. We are all Treaty People.
