Burned by hand into basswood, this piece centres pattern as something living and connected. Quillwork-inspired geometry, vines, and fern forms move across the surface, creating a rhythm that feels both grounded and growing. Subtle rose gold accents and the circular centre medallion catch the light like the first warmth of sunrise.

The natural bark edge is left intact, keeping the work connected to the tree it came from. Subtle metallic rose gold accents catch the light gently, adding warmth without overpowering the burn marks beneath.
